Malcolm’s Hair Cutters opens new salon at Tannersville Plaza.  Founded in 1977 by Malcolm Bonawits, Malcolm’s Haircutters has risen to the top of the salon industry. After serving four years in the United States Air Force, Malcolm enrolled in the Stroudsburg School of Cosmetology under the GI Bill. Upon graduation, he opened his first salon in Mt. Pocono, and worked behind the chair for twelve years. He went on to become one of the most successful stylists in the region. Today Malcolm is president and owner of Northeast Salons, Inc., a chain of nine salons located throughout Northeast Pennsylvania.
